When friends with kids come to stay we’re sometimes a little stuck for activities to do with them. There are only so many amazing Roman ruins 6 year olds want to see or mountains they want to walk up. And whilst the pool, sea and waterparks are very compelling, it’s nice to do something a bit different, especially in the cooler months.
We recommend a few different activities for people with kids when visiting Murcia and the Costa Cálida – and of course one of those activities is golf!
This year we found Golf Delux over near the AP7 at Los Alcázares run by Ralf Karlsson from Sweden. They have a great setup where golfers & non-golfers can have a go at Adventure Golf, Minigolf, Lawn-ball and Golf-curling. Yup, I didn’t know what some of those were either!
The place is totally geared towards families, with kids getting reduced prices on all activities. There’s a terrace and bar, and a good selection of food with plenty of choice for children. They do regular special offers where you play golf and enjoy a menu del día. Their prices are excellent with a round of golf about 8euros for adults and 5.50euros for under 13s. If there’s a big group you can negotiate discounts.

You can find it on Polígono Industrial Los Alcázares, on the F-30, on the way to Torre Pacheco, from exit (salida) 790 of the AP7 motorway. The turning is 1km after you have taken the exit. Now a polígono is an industrial estate, and at first we were a bit unsure about taking the kids to an industrial estate! However, once you get there you don’t even notice.
