Dive boat at La Ázohia - Rivemar

The majority of tourist attractions around Cartagena have a maritime theme, perhaps the most obvious example being the submarine from 1888, which is installed at the port end of the main pedestrianised shopping area. There is a naval museum, an under water archaeology museum and (although not open to the public) a large arsenal up on the hill overlooking the city. Near the bullring there’s a recently re–discovered Roman amphitheatre.

There are plenty of great beaches and diving schools.
